Why do people think cyber sex is stupid?

I started having cyber sex and I enjoy it a lot. I like to let my imagination go wild while I rub my clit and stick two fingers inside of me. People think that people who have cyber sex are desperate or needy. Well I just have urges and its another thing I do while I masturbate. If masturbating is okay; what is wrong with having cyber sex with a stranger while you do it? Why do people judge?
